So close, you can just about wave to the people sitting on the planes as they go by. The service was exceptional. I was sitting in the lobby and one of the staff came by and offered a fresh cookie to me. There is a sports-type bar in the hotel that served as a good networking point late in the evening without having to leave the premises.

This Airport Atlanta Hotel Marriott - Marriott Atlanta Airport is a great hotel. New or recently refurbished. Best bed ever... down quilt, sown comforter, down pillows. Cleanest room I've seen in a long time. Great service. Some confusion with Bell service on check-in... didn't know what they were saying to me. Turns out they were asking if I wanted self-service parking ($6) or valet ($10) when what I wanted to do was just check-in and get to a meeting. I opted for self-service and ended up parking on a hill and having to drag my carry-on down two flights of stairs.
