I went for a quick 2 day mini-vacation to get out of the city for a bit. Atlantic city is only an hour's drive from Philadelphia, so it is a great place for this purpose. Upon arrival at this Atlantic City Flagship Hotel Resort - The Flagship Resort, I was pleased with the location (I'm not big on gambling, but I like the shore, boardwalk and shows and I go for this purpose). I've always known while growing up that parts of Atlantic city were plagued by bad neighborhoods, (not unlike any other city), but was pleasantly surprised to see that this particular area had greatly improved.
I loved this Atlantic City Flagship Hotel Resort - The Flagship Resort. I don't get a chance to travel much, but this place had everything I like in a Hotel. I requested a room on a high floor and was put up on 29. The view was spectacular! I loved the fact that I had access to the outside by way of a large balcony; and nothing beats an indoor pool and game room which came in handy since it rained for most of our stay. The rooms were large and clean and had a comfortable decor, (my colors). I thought this Atlantic City Flagship Hotel Resort - The Flagship Resort was a bargain at $99.00 a night, and I was even offered one night's comp if I would chose to attend a morning meeting "to tell me more about the flagship" (timeshares I assumed); but turned the offer down to sleep in (with no regrets). I have to say that I shall return!
