Stayed at the Boston Buckminster Hotel Boston in May 2006. Had a very nice stay there, very clean and cozy. Rooms just a bit too small, but hotel had lotsa extras, ie, laundry room, microwave down the hall, etc. Great location, too....Just a block away from Fenway Park, terrific for us Ball Fans! Also, the Boston Buckminster Hotel Boston staff was nice. I brought with me a jar of peanut butter and could not get the lid off! I tried and tried but the lid was on so tight. Dilemma. A nice hotel experience. One of the staff at the Boston Buckminster Hotel Boston came to my rescue and loosed the lid, so I could have a late nite snack. The peanut butter was good, too. So if in Boston check out the Buckminster, it is really nice. Prices are reasonable, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. I have to say when I booked the Boston Buckminster Hotel Boston room, I wasn't expecting much for it's low rate. I was also a woman traveling alone so I was a little nervous but all nerves were eased when I came to the front desk. All the staff were very helpful and gave me awesome recommendations and even made dinner reservations for me at the nicest places.

WOW it was pretty! Location is excellent. It's a short jog down Commonwealth Av. to the Kenmore Green Line T stop, and down Beacon St. to Boston University. On the lower level there are two restaurants--a Chicago Pizzeria Uno and a Sushi bar that also serves a basic American breakfast.Boston Buckminster Hotel Boston is situated in the heart of Boston's Back Bay and footsteps away from Boston University and Fenway Park.
