Ummm - the beach! The beaches on the eastern edge of the Peninsula are coral - beautiful, soft, white sand that sticks to everything, even after your shower (bring a scrubbie.) The Cancun Omni Hotel Cancun has provided about 20 small palapas, each a single post with a circular conical roof, on a first-come, first-served basis. The water is an unbelievable shade of pale turquoise, with nice little body-surfing waves, and fairly warm (compared to the frigid 64* Pacific.) Servers come around about every 20 minutes from the Pina Colada, to take and deliver food and drink orders.
