My partner and i arrived in this hotel at 3pm, we were greated by a friendly man at reception who spoke great english and he booked us in in a matter of minutes and we made our way to the lift. It is slightly different to most hotels in Amsterdam in as much as it has some nice grounds. It would be a long (45 minute) walk from downtown to the hotel. There are, of course, two regular and one night bus run to it from Centraal train (transit) station. It was an acceptable hotel, for our 3 day stay, we got there by car and you can park your car for free there - parking your car in the city costs you a little fortune too, so this was another reason not to stay right in town. The rooms are cleaned every day and the bathroom and shower are a suitable size. Breakfast is basic but was what we expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and arranged transport for us when leaving. The night porter who served at the bar was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
