At breakfast the next morning in the Wave restaurant, some rates include a free continental breakfast. The rooms, undoubtedly are small, as the hotel is a converted Days Inn. Nonetheless, they are wondefully furnished. The bed, as in most Starwood hotels, is second to none. This Chicago W Hotel certainly has the best view of any hotel in Chicago.
If you like a hip place and to hang out with the in-crowd, chances are you will enjoy this Chicago W Hotel. The W Lakeshore is right on the Lake and is a stones throw from Navy Pier. You may book a room with a view so to watch people night and day walking, biking and swimming. It is beautiful.
Well, the "spa" consists of two rooms inside the gym! The check in desk is an x-hotel room with a computer and phone. But, after having the services which are top notch, you will realize that 'size doesn't matter'! A good spa experience is more of a feeling anyway. An 'uber-Urban' hotel. Super cool. But not snobby in any way.
This W Hotel Chicago is not your average hotel. Asian inspired decor yet very comfortable. The feather beds and pillows are to die for. The service is friendly and prompt. The much talked about Whisky Sky bar on the top floor is a very busy, very small but good drinks. Good location-next to Navy Pier and only about 10 min walk to Michigan Ave shops.
This W Hotel Chicago is ultra trendy, but not in a disgusting way but enough so that you know you are getting your money's worth. Also, the bed is the most comforttable bed. Definitely not your average hotel bed, the beds at the W have feather beds, down blankets, and down pillows. This W Hotel Chicago is fun and comfortable.

The Chicago W Hotel rooms are beautiful with the most comfortable beds. This W Hotel Chicago is immaculate and so trendy looking. The service is excellent. One might expect a snobbish attitude from the staff to match the ultra-cool decor, but they are all very friendly. By far the beds in this Chicago W Hotel are very very comfortable, maybe the best you ever have. This Chicago W Hotel is a great place for people who appreciate a hip, slick environment.
The instant you walk into this Chicago W Hotel, you know it's not the run-of-the-mill hotel. The lobby is a two-story marble atrium, and has the feel of a nuveau "lounge". In this Chicago W Hotel, the entire hotel (including the room) has a very "hip" vibe to it...slick decor and music...
