Stunning rooms - refurb has worked wonders for the Crowne Plaza City Centre Hotel Birmingham. Staff were fab, food was fab, still a little refurb going on in reception but we heard no noise and saw no workmen. Would thoroughly reccomend staying here - 3 min walk to mail box or broad street and half the price of other hotels to this standard.

Crowne Plaza in Birmingham The Red Crowne Plaza Hotel In Birmingham The hotel was very easy to find following the signs for the NEC with a large barrier carpark. The hotel was quite as there were no exhibitions on at the NEC which was a plus as I could see the place getting very busy, the staff were very pleasant and helpful with the concerige giving us directions to a local family pub and to Alton Towers.

The Crowne Plaza Birmingham The Red Crowne Plaza Hotel In Birmingham The room was a little small for a family of four as the sofa bed was only a single but we survived the only complaint on that issue was that I had to request twice for the sofa to be made up. The room was clean and well serviced with nice toiletries and good hairdryer,iron etc. With the hotel being quite breakfast was a la carte for hot items which mean't every thing was cooked fresh. The choice for breakfast was excellent and very tasty and the service from the staff was very good. All in all the stay was very good.

I loved this Crowne Plaza in Birmingham The Red Crowne Plaza Hotel In Birmingham . booked the "club" room on the 11th floor which gave access to the club lounge. Between 5:30 and 7:30 you can have complimentary bottles of Peroni or Bud, Red or White wine and the usual coffees & fizzy pop as well as 2 pcs with internet. Safe to say i had a few! This was probably the best weekend away me and the wife have had, the room was great as was the staff and everything. I work all over the UK and stay in loads of Crowne Plazas and Holiday Inns etc but this was by far the best Crowne Plaza i have been in.Total bargain and a really great location, love the free beer & wine, staff were spot on & i am definately going to go back soon!

I loved this Crowne Plaza Birmingham The Red Crowne Plaza Hotel In Birmingham . All the materials used in my room were bright and felt of good quality. There were good chairs, drinks maker and a LCD television. My opinion is that the designers have done a good job here; all very tasteful. I was also pleased with the price I paid. Overall, the new rooms represent a really good transformation from when I last stayed at the hotel. In terms of location, the hotel is within around 10 minutes walk of the centre. Desk service staff were efficient, although I felt I could have had a warmer welcome, especially in view of my membership of the Rewards program. I didn't try any of the food at the hotel during my stay. In summary, although I think most people use the Crowne Plaza for business (as indeed many of hotels in the important conference market in Birmingham), this was certainly a pleasant stay, with the refurbished room exceeding expectations.

Crowne Plaza Birmingham The Red Crowne Plaza Hotel In Birmingham .I recently stayed at this Crowne Plaza Birmingham The Red Crowne Plaza Hotel In Birmingham . I loved Crowne Plaza Birmingham The Red. It is a historic hotel in a renovated train station. We stayed in a refurbished train car, which was a wonderful and unique experience. The hotel is in the downtown area close to all attractions. The provide a sleep sound CD Which was a wonderful addition to our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
