Overall a good experience with very helpful staff and okay Downtown location, and cab rides are only $6 to anywhere in Downtown area. Outdoor pool area is dated, but water was clean, cool and refreshing. Small park right across the street was great to take the kids for some exercise and play some catch. Older hotel with dated interior beyond the lobby, lower end "3 Star" but still solid choice for the price.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Houston Tx - Crowne Plaza Hotel Houston-Downtown. upgraded to a better room w/ a posturepedic memory foam mattress, complimentary sound spa cd and a small kit w/eye mask and lavender linen spray. Get a free drink ticket at the bar too! Customer service were so friendly and welcoming! When we walked into our rooms it smelled fresh and clean! The Crowne Plaza Hotel Houston Tx - Crowne Plaza Hotel Houston I-10 West. Hotel was a Holiday Inn Select but has been thoroughly upgraded to a Crowne Plaza. The rooms are more luxorious, the amenities more upscale, and the bar and other common areas vastly improved. The bar used to be too smoky for me, but Houston has gone smoke-free; with the renovation, it's now like a private club! The Crowne Plaza Hotel Houston Tx - Crowne Plaza Hotel Houston North - Greenspoint. really impressive, and the rooms were really nice. Check in was absolutely super. We ate at the restaurant for dinner, it was really good and fairly priced. The portions were large too. The pool was pretty with waterfalls. Service was fantastic, very accommodating, super friendly. The staff were friendly as well. located in the famed Medical Center area of Houston and is literally across the street from the entrance to Reliant Park - home to Reliant Center and Reliant Stadium.
