Izmir's brand new hotel Crowne Plaza is situated about 10 kilometers
away from the city center and the Izmir international fair ground.
Established as a French trading post in 1764, St. Louis served as a gateway to the west after the Louisiana Purchase and as a major port for steamboats traveling the Mississippi. Today the city's landmark is the soaring, shining steel Gateway Arch, designed by Eero Saarinen in 1966 to commemorate western-bound pioneers. Though visitors often make it their first stop, there's plenty more beckoning, including the restored Union Station with its specialty shops, expansive Forest Park with first-rate museums, and numerous attractions geared toward children, many of them free, making St. Louis a prime family destination.

This Crowne Plaza Hotel St Louis - Crowne Plaza Hotel St. Louis - Downtown. I enjoyed one night at the Crowne Plaza, and it was the best sleep ever! The bed was comfy, and the relaxation CD put me out in 2-3 minutes. From the bed, I could see the arch and that was fabulous to look out at. Drinks at the bar were great. My only negatives are the following: spots on room carpet, minor chips on bathroom doors and walls, and dark interior halls. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. This Crowne Plaza Hotel St Louis - Crowne Plaza Hotel St. Louis Airport. I have stayed at this hotel about 5 times over the last couple of years. After a long and arduous trip from Brussels it's a real treat to see the smile on the faces of the staff checking you in. The location is a little out of town, not to worry, there is a large shopping mall type store next door and mouthwatering fish restaurants outside. The hotel is in pristine condition, most rooms overlook the bay. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for either business or leisure travel, you won't be disappointed but you will be back !!....... This Crowne Plaza Hotel St Louis - Crowne Plaza Hotel St. Louis - Clayton. The hotel staff were always polite, we were given a sea view upgrade on checking in and the room was always cleaned to a high standard. The level of service I was very impressed with. Although you may not get all of these things at every stay I would still rate the hotel above ones such as the Hilton and Best Western in town, purely on the basics. There is also a large supermarket just behind the Crowne Plaza Hotel St Louis Hotel which is great for breakfasts etc if you don't want fork out for the hotel breakfasts........
