The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Good size rooms, clean, helpfull staff. We were going to be late for a wedding because we got lost and the staff really helped us get their on time. The wedding was in another super rated hotel which I thought should take a few lessons from the Crowne Plaza. Very good value!!! As the best of hotels in Washington, DC for leisure travelers, our facility is within walking distance of the National Mall, Verizon Center, Lincoln Memorial and Smithsonian museums.
We're also just minutes from major universities, such as George Washington, Georgetown and Howard. Nationals Stadium and RFK Stadium are only a short Metro ride away.   This Hotel Crowne Plaza Washington DC - Crowne Plaza Hotel Old Town Alexandria . room was very spacious (king bed) and was full of "extras" - bottled water, a gift bag filled w/ a relaxation CD, eye mask, ear plugs, and lavender linen spray ... The bed was very comfortable, too! I would highly recommend this hotel. The lobby staff was also very friendly. The hotel is clean and pleasant, though rather characterless. It's not that easy to find. I actually drove past it without seeing it. Staff were courteous, the room is spacious and well equipped in typical Crowne Plaza style........ This Hotel Crowne Plaza Washington DC - Crowne Plaza Hotel The Hamilton Washington Dc. an excellent experience when checking into this hotel. Valet, doorman, desk person and bellhop were very helpful and nice. Good rate. Breakfast in the restaurant was great and the maitre'd and waiter were very attentive. Overall very pleased with this hotel, it's in a good location within walking distance to may of the top spots in DC and close to many decent restaurants and bars. A very comfortable and business orientated hotel with airy, but slightly compact rooms. All facilities supplied, and excellent and reasonable choice of room service menu. The staff was very attentive to our needs, and the bar was excellent in terms of customer service and the draught beer.
