Amazed about the exceptional friendly service ... something you don't always get in London. The bed was a delight and I seriously considered taking one of their pillows home with me. This London Discount City Hotel London - Crowne Plaza London - The City Location was ideal for my trip, just a short stroll over the bridge and I was at tate modern and the walks along the Thames were beautiful. 2, City Inn WestminsterThis London Discount City Hotel London -City Inn Westminster. "Wonderful visit". Lovely room, COMFY bed, slept like a baby! Very nice bathrobes to relax in. Massive choice for breakfast which kept us going till mid-afternoon although slight queue for tables at 10.15am on weekend which I suppose is to be expected. Concierge managed to arrange excellent seats for top matinee show 2 hours before it started which made our stay complete. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. 3, Grange City HotelThis London Discount City Hotel London -Grange City Hotel. "Great Hotel, Spectacular View". The hotel is fabulous - very luxurious and the rooms live up to the same standard. Check in for 24 of us was flawless and we were greeted very warmly. Had a room on the 11th floor which directly overlooked the Tower Of London and Tower Bridge. The breakfast was superb and we also shook off our hangover with a swim and a spa in the health club in the basement. 4, Thistle City BarbicanThis London Discount City Hotel London -Thistle City Barbican. What a nice surprise. Very clean hotel lovely room with air con, friendly staff esp in the bar! Nice pool although a little smaller than the picture(wide angle lens trick!). Barbican and Old street tubes about 7 mins walk(old street nicer walk). The bathroom was spotlessly clean. For London break you cant go to far wrong with this London Discount City Hotel London - Thistle City Barbican .
