This Discount Rate Chicago Hotel Illinois Downtown, The Travelodge/Chicago at Harrison Ave. was a great value (under$90) and very convenient this past weekend.Our room was clean, had in room coffee and safe. Only 2 short blocks from the red line made transportation to/from O'Hare and around town very convenient.Be sure to purchase a visitor's transportation pass at the airport CTA booth,unlimited use on all bus rail etc. for the amount of days purchased. Easy walk to breakfast at The Orange-fun and yummy!........

2, Red Roof Inn Chicago Downtown
This Discount Rate Chicago Hotel Illinois Downtown, We were looking for something affordable yet close to the sights and booked the Red Roof Inn based on reviews here. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for: inexpensive, in the heart of downtown, clean, friendly staff. Yes, the room was a bit crowded for 4, but we weren't there much and the convenient location was more than worth it! It was perfect for a family on a budget. Don't stay there if you want luxury or extras, but if you are happy with the basics, it's the right place for you!!!......

3, Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown
This Discount Rate Chicago Hotel Illinois Downtown. Pretty good value. We had a king bed in the bedroom, a large bathroom, and a living room/kitchen with a pull-out sleep sofa that was actually comfortable. Location is excellent. Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, ESPN Zone, and several great restaurants are within a few blocks. A free trolley runs to Navy Pier. Clean rooms, Great breakfast, Friendly staff, Great location,Nice pool(a bit small but it's a pool)I would recommend this hotel to anyone.......

4, Radisson Hotel & Suites - Downtown Chicago
This Discount Rate Chicago Hotel Illinois Downtown, Both the view and service were great! The room was clean, spacious and put together nicely. The room was reasonably priced and a great value after reading the reviews of other nearby properties. Best of all, it had a terrific location, just 20 seconds from Michigan Avenue. Front desk was super helpful when it came to bus schedules, movie times and dining recommendations. I'd definitely stay there again.....

5, Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown
This Discount Rate Chicago Hotel Illinois Downtown, Fabulous hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chicago - fantastic city - and the hotel contributed to our experience. Great room, good bed, perfect night's sleep (couldn't hear any noise, but then again, we were so tired from a full day's entertainment in the city), great service. Only caveat is the parking. They need to tell ALL guests that if they're driving, make sure to park in the loading zone in front of the hotel, pick up a transponder........

6, Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown
This Discount Rate Chicago Hotel Illinois Downtown, We were absolutely delighted with the hotel. We had an immaculately maintained suite, comprising a full kitchen, lounge, bedroom, and bathroom. The room was clean, the bedding was clean, and the AC worked, as did all the other equipment. amazed that this is only a 2* hotel. Any misgivings we had beforehand were swiftly allayed. I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation, and will look at the Hampton chain first the next time that I visit the USA.......
