The hotel staff could not have been more friendly or accomodating! The restaurant and bar are fabulous. An excellent piano player plays in the bar. We would have liked the bar area to stay open a little later as we were really enjoying ourselves. The breakfast buffet was nice too! We were welcomed with a warm and generous smile from the front desk staff and were given two scrumptious chocolate chip cookies :-)The room was well maintained, there were little things I really liked, the shower curtain rod is beveled so it doesn't stick to you while you shower, clever huh. It is a 10 minute walk to the Convention center. Great places to eat within walking distance. Locate near train station right next to hotel. Rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room service food was great and delivered on time. I ordered lunch and breakfast. It was easy to get a cab when needed. I would stay here again in the future........More info.... I have been traveling to Wilmington for a long time and hated the fact there wasnt much to choose from- Finally a new hotel- it's hip-sophisticated-and located in the right place. We had great service during dinner and drinks with clients. The rooms are completely brand new- and the alarm clock was the best. You can hook your iPod up to it.
