Kid Suite In the Hot Air Balloon Theme
This is one example of Family Suite Holiday Inn many kids suites. The room is very nice. You will find a sofa bed, rocker, entertainment center with a safe (which you could use at no extra charge).

The "kitchen" area has a small table with built in checkerboard, two chairs, a small refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, utility sink, and storage space for groceries or anything else like that.
The bathroom is a nice size and came equipped with a hairdryer and makeup mirror. It has shelves to put personal items and seemed really homey.
The master bedroom area has a vanity, mirrored closet, king size bed (I was only expecting a queen), two side tables with lamps, built in entertainment area with VCR, and also came equipped with a ceiling fan, iron, hairdryer, makeup mirror, and ironing table.
The kids "room" is the big hit though with a family. It has a bunk bed each with its own speaker for the TV and light. There is a built in entertainment area with a TV and Nintendo 64. There is also a rollaway bed that is stored in a secret compartment. There are two drawers and two shelves to put clothes, and a couple of hooks to hang things. Then, there is a phone, a play table with two chairs and a CD/tape/radio boom box.
The room is really clean and the maids left cute surprises for the kids by putting their stuffed animals in cute poses for them. The maids also after assessing if you bring small children leave a cup at the bath tub for hair rinsing and put all of your toothbrushes in a cup which is very much appreciated.

In Family Suite Holiday Inn, the perfect recipe for the perfect family dining experience: a casual yet charming old-style train decor, plus a wide selection of popular menu choices, and a friendly staff to serve it all up.

Pool
The pool is a blast. It has a zero depth entry at one end and goes all the way up to about 5 or 6 ft. at the other end. The two "areas" are separated by sprinkler like fountains that shot from the side into the water in an arc. The kids area has tons of "toys" to play with. There is a water umbrella, animal squirt guns, bicycle squirt guns, water cannons, and a big fountain to play in.
There is also an area specifically for babies and toddlers. It looks really nice. There is also a shop there that you could rent floats, alligators, whales, etc... It is $5 for an hour and could be billed to your room. You could also get sunscreen and buy towels there. They provid towels at the pool and there was plenty of seating and shady areas to sit in. One day Typhoon Lagoon people were there with coupons to the water parks and taking free digital camera pictures in a surfing scene. It was really cool.

I e-mailed the Family Suite Holiday Inn prior to our visit, and read all of the reviews. We understood that this was to be an experience through the eyes of a 4 year old and chose it for her. The Family Suite Holiday Inn was perfect for her, she loved choosing her food, having her own room, the pool and the highlight of her trip was the baby alligator from the alligator farm she held on her lap at the hotel. As for the adults, the staff couldn't have been more helpful in every way. We appreciated the free pizza coupons after a long day at Sea World, and a decent menu and wine for adults in the dining room the first night. The Family Suite Holiday Inn was convenient, and met all of the expectations we had. For grandparents who are treating, the Family Suite Holiday Inn offers a great family buy, leaving money to use for tickets to the theme parks. We have stayed at hotels right in the park, but found this one to be much more relaxing, more fun for the kids, and better for the combination of our family of single mom, granddaughter and grandma and grandpa and much less expensive! There is a free train ride around the hotel it was very cute the kids loved it. There's also a nice pool that we loved too. It's open late so when you come back from the parks you can have a dip. We got portraits taken at this hotel at a good price. They are great pictures. There's also a pizza place,ice-cream and popcorn. It's pretty good. You also get breakfeast buffet and it was great. The Family Suite Holiday Inn rooms were fantastic. They were always clean and nice. They had a theme to the room. We had a Disney theme. There was bunk beds the kids loved them!
