"Elegant and Spectacular!"
A hotel's location is very important to us when travelling. Four Season Chicago is just steps away from Michigan Avenue and some of the world's finest shopping. It is adjacent to The John Hancock Building, and one block from Oak Street Beach There are many fine restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, it is about a two block walk from The Museum of Modern Art, and one could even walk to The Loop from here.

Chintz and fringe is everywhere! Bold jewel tone colors are used in the upholstered pieces and the plentiful through pillows. No attention to detail in this area has been overlooked. Interesting enough, ashtrays are also plentiful and smoking is allowed in this area. The lobby is so beautiful, one is usually more comfortable if you are dressed, but jeans and the like are not banned. One of the highlights of the lobby area is a large marble fountain outside of the dining areas.
In Four Season Chicago, the parlor and bedroom are divided by glass French doors, with more fabric for privacy. The bedroom is a good size. The room appeared bigger than it is because of the two large picture windows, again covered in silk and chintz. Our king sized bed is so comfortable, one didn't want to leave it! If you have not yet slept on a Four Season mattress, you are missing out on a good night's sleep.

"Wonderful Seasons Restaurant" Like the lobby, the Seasons Restaurant is an opulent and large room, with crisp linens, brocade fabrics, and fresh flowers everywhere! Seasons concentrates, as you might guess, on seasonal ingredients. Kobe beef can be found here, along with the finest, veal, lamb, and seafood. Food is always pleasantly presented and the menu is most creative. Seasons has recently been named Chicago's "Most Romantic" Restaurant. The famed Zagat Survey has given Seasons the honor of Best Chicago Restaurant for food.
In Four Season Chicago, Holiday Brunches and Buffets at Seasons are grand experiences! The selections are bountiful and presented with the same panache and attention to detail as the rest of the hotel. This is not your average brunch/buffet, a Sushi Station, a Raw Bar with crustaceans of all types, A Pasta "as you like it" Station, A Roasting Station to include Veal Roast, Leg of Lamb, Pork Crown Roast (with those wonderful frilled panties and all) Standing Rib Roast, A Stuffed Salmon Roast, and more!
There is also a Stir Fry station and Dim Sum selections. Desserts do not disappoint either. You will find a myriad of French pastries, mile high pies, cheesecakes, cookies, trifles, and mouse. At the end of our meal, presented with our check is full size and beribboned loaves of cranberry bread and home made jams. Charming!
