My wife and I chose this Paris Hilton Paris Hotel after initially booking a more traditional "charming French" establishment. We chickened out on that one and chose the more familiar Hilton brand instead when we began reading reviews suggesting that our original selection was undergoing charm-robbing construction.
As it turns out, we made a great choice. The Paris Hilton Paris Hotel at the Eiffel Tower is a wonderful place that provides the best of American and French features. We stayed there for four nights in late May of 2004 and couldn't have been happier. The cost--$340 (280 Euros)--was not low by American standards but was pretty reasonable on the Parisian economy considering what we got. Aside from the king-size bed, we got an amazingly large, tastefully deocrated, well maintained room with a balcony and a close-up view of the nearby Eiffel Tower. The room was quiet, comfortable and pleasant. The modern bathroom, tiled all around from floor to ceiling, was especially nice.
Paris Hilton Paris Hotel is a very nice hotel and don't let the xenophobes from the USA who cringe at anything costing more than $60 a night convince you otherwise.
The staff was unfailingly friendly and polite. The conceirge desk was especially helpful. The location was wonderful. From the hotel we walked easily to Luxembourg Gardens and on to the Latin Quarter for dinner. On a more ambitious day, we walked along the nearby Seine river to the Louvre and on to the Arc de Triomphe. The walk was wonderful though, my wife and I, ages 58 and 59 respectively, were pretty pooped at the end.
Oh yea, the room rate was very, very reasonable for all that the hotel has to offer.check availability and rate now.
