My only expectation was that it was clean...I was pleasantly surprised to find much more. Check in/out was easy and quick with extra friendly employees. The Holiday Inn Express Lees Summit Hotel Quality Inn & Suites Lees Summit rooms were perfectly clean without those icky hotel bedspreads that most use, the continental breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The indoor pool was very clean and a nice diversion for the many children staying in our party. EVERY employee I encountered went out of their way to be nice and helpful, even bringing us extra towels at the indoor pool without being asked! I found this to be a nice, surprisingly pleasant, low cost hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a king room with a bathtub that had jacuzzi jets in it. The Holiday Inn Express Lees Summit Hotel Quality Inn & Suites Lees Summit room was a basic hotel room: bed, desk, recliner, TV and dresser. There was a sink outside the bathroom as well as one in the bathroom. The bathroom had nice thick fluffy towels, shampoo and lotion as well as soap. There was a coffee maker on the desk. The room was clean. The Holiday Inn Express Lees Summit Hotel offers a free breakfast which is not all that good - 2 cereals, a few rolls, hard boiled eggs, coffee and juice - also their "famous" hot cinnamon rolls which were not all that great. The hotel had a small swimming pool and jacuzzi tub right off the lobby. While there was nothing terrible about this hotel, there was also nothing outstanding either and I would not stay here again.
