Because it was just renovated, all the furniture and carpeting was new. The beds were great - I called around the area looking for a comfortable bed. Thought the hotel was clean, with a nice bed. Tv was fuzzy. Staff was great at check in. For dinner filet, shrimp, and crabcakes!!! Some of the best "hotel" food I have had. This Hotels in Downtown Columbus Ohio - Crowne Plaza Hotel Columbus-Downtown. We were in town for one night for a concert and ended up getting upgraded to the 12th floor. The rooms were very clean and had some nice stuff from Bath & Body works. Hotels Downtown Columbus Ohio beds and pillows were outstanding. The most comfortable I have ever had in any hotel. Yes, the public spaces(lobby, hallways) need to be upgraded, but they dont detract from a good downtown value within easy walking distance to just about anything. I highly recommend.... We were traveling with a two year old and found that the pack and play we requested was in our room. Hotels in Downtown Columbus Ohio accommodations were very nice and the breakfast was more than adequate as well - especially for the price. We are going back to Columbus this fall and will be....
