In Houston one great place for a weekend jaunt is the Hermann Park area - also known as the Museum District. You'll find plenty here by way of cultural activities. The Houston Zoo, The Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Natural History are all located in or near Hermann Park. A short distance away you can stroll through the campus of Rice University. And Hermann Park itself offers plenty of pretty paths to meander along, and some beautiful old trees to rest under. There are plenty of hotels located near the Museum District. If you want to see the premier of a Broadway-bound play, your best bet is the Tony award winning Alley Theater.

The Cheap Discount Houston Hotel - Doubletree Hotel Downtown Houston.
From the valet staff, to the front desk staff, to X the Concierge and
his directions and recommendations; and, I don't think I've run into
friendlier associates. Add them to a city central location and warm
cookie upon arrival, and it was really hard to find fault with the
hotel. Sure the only place to park at the hotel is to leave your car
with the valet...

Houston Hotel - Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Downtown
Houston. Loved it! The rooms were great! The beds were heavenly and
they even had Wi-Fi! Bathrooms were huge and the shampoo and
conditioner etc. was plentiful. Portions were generous and smelled
great. Walk to the Toyota Center was only one minute away and very
safe. It is well lit. So close to downtown and a wonderful...

good. Location was on Main street in the middle of the downtown, just a
few blocks from the convention center. Spacious, comfortable, quiet
room. Great staff. Bit of mildew on the shower curtain but otherwise
clean and in great shape. From its neo-classical exterior to polished

Another HotelIt's demoralizing and unwise to try and see too much of Houston Hotel in one go; best to concentrate on downtown or the Museum District , which can be walked around at leisure. Houston's human face is most evident in the Montrose. If you have a limited amount of time, your best bet is to choose one area of the city to concentrate on and then rely on cabs or walking to get you where you want to go Houston Hotel. With so much to do and see, it's easy to find an area rich with entertainment, restaurants and nightlife Houston Hotel.
