"Modern And Elegant " Loews New York Regency Hotel New York is clean and beautiful. The rooms are larger than the average size on offer in Manhattan and its exquisitely located on swish Park Avenue, walking distance to Madison Avenue, 5th Avenue, Lexington & 3rd - shoppers heaven! Even a standard twin has two good-sized walk-in closets.

Loews New York The Regency Hotel New York guest rooms have taupe-color silk wallpaper, velvet throw pillows, and polished Honduran mahogany, but the smallish bathrooms with their marble countertops are unspectacular. Goose-down duvets and ergonomic leather desk chairs reinforce the pleasingly modern feel.

This Loews the Regency place was great! My husband, 3 year old son, and I stayed here for a 3 day weekend in April. It was our first time staying in NYC, so we wanted the best and got it=) We arrived around 8am and the staff was friendly and nice enough to stow away our luggage so we could get some sightseeing done before we checked in. It ended up that the hotel had our room ready for us way ahead of check in time. The room was a Lux King and it was absolutely beautiful! I loved the updated bedding and furniture, the marble bathroom, and the balcony with a view. It was also nice that it was just minutes walk to Central Park, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Bloomingdales, etc. We enjoyed walking, tour loops, and the subway to various places. You won't go wrong with this one!

The Regency is an excellent hotel. After spending a few nights at the Westin Times Square, the Regency was quite refreshing. We spent two nights there on the 24th and 25th of August. We originally booked a standard king room with a courtyard view, however, upon arriving the front desk representative asked if we would like to upgrade free of charge to a luxury king room with a street view. The room was huge and had a small kitchenette, sitting area, table and chairs and a desk area. The bathroom had a TV and a phone! It was one of the nicest hotel rooms we had ever stayed in. The staff was excellent - the concierge even called the airline to confirm our flight beofer we left for the airport. The location is great- very relaxed neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city, however, it is literally right around the corner from 5th and Madison Avenues. I highly recommend this hotel!
