The location is the key thing. It is within walking distance to all the parks as well as city walk. And as a hotel guest you get to cut the lines on every ride! That is the best thing! I would stay at the hotel just for that perk...we would walk by lines of over 100 people and go right to the front.

The Orlando Royal Pacific Hotel Universal's Royal Pacific Resort - A Loews Hotel Orlando Resort staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good, and the pool is good too, although the hotel is more of a family hotel. The location is great, and the express ticket for the parks is brilliant, some of the queues are a 90 minutes! You must go on the Shrek 4D Ride - brilliant! The boat that you can catch to travel to the parks is a nice journey, and is a quick way to get there. The room is great! Very large !

I wish we would have stayed at Orlando Royal Pacific Hotel Universal's Royal Pacific Resort - A Loews Hotel Orlando Resort longer! It is not a kid's themed site, but a beautiful, romantic hotel. Some might prefer a sunny, brightly lit room, but I loved the dark, rich wood decor; with its gold and burgundy tones, I thought it was a luxuriously decorated room. I recommend for the free upgrade and goodie basket, (it's a free service). The perks of this resort are the ambience, proximity to US, (the short walking distance to City Walk or the free boat ride), but especially the Express Pass which puts you first in line for all rides and attractions. Orlando Royal Pacific Hotel Universal's Royal Pacific Resort - A Loews Hotel Orlando Resort is the most economical of the three, and it is a Deluxe type hotel by all standards. It is beautifully themed with great restaraunts, a large, lovely pool, and wonderful service.
