3, Marriott Ottawa Downtown hotel This Ottawa Discount Hotel With Kitchen, The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, and was worth the price of the room in itself. Facing the river/Gatineau... excellent views. Pool area is very clean... pool and hot tub are more than decent. Good-sized kids room with big-screen tv, toys, kitchen, slides, etc. Also a game room with Playstations. Spacious room, very clean with small separate kitchenette, fridge, microwave, dishes and a plug in hot plate. Very comfortable sofa bed. Plush carpeting. Nice bathroom with heated floors, which I imagine would be very welcome in the winter. Had to pay for parking, suppose because it was in the downtown area. We had a room on the 6th floor and the room was extremly clean, the Air Conditioning was awesome. It was right in the middle of the downtown area so you could walk to everything including the Parliament buildings and the Rideau Center. The suite was spacious and immaculately clean. Everything in the suite was in excellent working condition and in very good Kitchen. Very clean. The Cartier is right downtown and close to restaurants and tourist locales. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ottawa, especially families. The one bedroom suite had a full kitchen, including dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. The price of this hotel is fabulous because you get a suite for the price of a regular hotel room. There's a good , if compact, kitchen there. Suite was clean, and no problems with checkin or checkout.This is a great property for the price and location. It's a bit of a walk to the main tourist areas, but the price and quality make up for it. The suite had two nice double beds, a beautiful dining table and chairs, a lovely little kitchenette bar fridge,and tea making facilities, an ironing board and even a hairdryer; a beautiful comfortable settee and two T.V.s.
