The Paris Port Royal Hotel Paris is superbly maintained, the staff is excellent, the location is ideal (in my opinion) and the rooms are very clean. 4, Super-Budget Europe BackpackParis Villa Lutèce Port Royal Port Royal Hotel Paris. My husband and I were doing the super-budget Europe backpack trip last year, and found the Port-Royal to be one of the best deals on our entire trip. While we usually stayed in hostels, the Port-Royal was only slightly more expensive, and offered truly wonderful hotel service. As an added bonus, we were in Paris over Easter, and enjoyed the little hazelnut-filled chocolates hidden around the Paris Port Royal Hotel Paris lobby!. Port-Royal was a memorable experience- first time alone in Paris, this family-oriented hotel gave me a sense of warmth in a Paris winter- Its hospitality is personal. Port-Royal was a memorable experience- first time alone in Paris, this family-oriented hotel gave me a sense of warmth in a Paris winter- Its hospitality is personal. 7, Like To Be Up And Out AsapParis Villa Lutèce Port Royal Port Royal Hotel Paris. The double (actually two twin beds pushed together) room was small as others have indicated but for two people was just fine. Our room backed up to the courtyard and we only heard kids on Friday afternoon. No big deal here either. Paris Port Royal Hotel Paris Villa Lutèce Port Royal, but we like to be up and out asap anyway. The walls were thin, we could hear everything in the two adjacent rooms. 8, More Parisian ExperienceParis Villa Lutèce Port Royal Port Royal Hotel Paris. It wasn't bothersome because there was total quiet in the evenings. The staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. No language barrier issues. The location seemed mostly residential and that was fine for us because we have been to Paris before and Paris Port Royal Hotel Paris Villa Lutèce Port Royal. We were looking for a more Parisian experience. There are metro stations close by that will get you to anywhere you'd like to go. We found ourselves walking to the Latin Quarter quite frequently. 9, Trendy-yet-stylishParis Villa Lutèce Port Royal Port Royal Hotel Paris. The room smelled of smoke, although that was partially my fault because I did forget to ask for a non smoking room. The walls were quite thin, and I could hear a child crying during the night in a room nearby. The neighbourhood also seemed a little bit dodgy, with homeless people sleeping on the street corner.
