Clift Hotel San Francisco
is located at San Francisco's theatre district center. It is two blocks
from Union Square-San Francisco’s premiere shopping district and two
blocks from the main cable car line. Compared with other San Francisco hotels
, the Clift Hotel is very close to the Financial District and only a
few blocks away from the Moscone center, the Fisherman’s Wharf and 13
miles from San Francisco International Airport.
If you are into modern, stylish hotels and are more impressed
with the look of the room than the comfort, this would be the place to
be. It is much more of a status type of hotel than a comfortable hotel.
The rooms were pretty small. The staff was very helpful though.
If you are an early riser, you could wake up and go for a walk on the
street. Then, you may go to the Fitness Center where you will enjoy the best Stairmaster ever--Cyber 800.
That is in heaven! The concierge always gives good restaurant
recommendations. You can get a great pot of coffee from room service
for a few dollars after all the service charges -- but there's a
Starbuck's across the street. Overall, a terrific place to stay.

Oh, and did I mention the beds!
Ultra comfortable, with great linens, fantastic pillows, and a cashmere
throw perfect for TV watching. Nice touches are the candles lit
throughout the property each evening, and the romantic alcoves, perfect
for a quiet conversation and glass of wine. The bed is nice and comfy.
The hotel is very modern looking with a young and hip people at night.
San Francisco Clift Hotel San Francisco is ultra cool, the rooms are
not huge but beautifully designed as is the entire hotel. The hotel is
great for Union Square with just a 5 minute walk on the flat (unusual
for SF) and it has a great bar that attracts the great and the good
from the city. Staff are very helpful and overall we had no complaints
whatsoever. The San Francisco Clift Hotel San Francisco beds and
pillows are extremely comfortable. It is wonderfully clean. The staff
are very friendly. At San Francisco Clift Hotel San Francisco,
the staff are very helpful, courteous, and very friendly. The city itself is very nice. San Francisco Clift Hotel San Francisco is in a nice location in the middle of everything.
"Luxury Bedding!" While flying to San Francisco, I was reading James
Patterson's new book and one of the scenes was at The Clift Hotel. He
describes the hotel well - it's very unique. The hotel has just
completed a new renovation and the rooms are beautiful with white
decor, very clean and very spacious. We will always remember our Clift
Hotel San Francisco experience and it was awesome.
I cannot stress enough how friendly and helpful the staff was. We
received great recommendations, everything from the best way to get to
the hotel from the airport from where to go for great meals! The
experience at San Francisco Clift Hotel San Francisco was exceptional
and I would go back.
