I had a great room on the Nikko Floor (24th floor) with access to the Club level on the 23rd floor. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. Though the beds are a bit small, the decor is hip and modern. The club level is very clean and well maintained. My twelve year old son has great fun in using the free internet access before bedtime. The staff is courteous and sincere, especially the ones in Anzu Restaurant and the valet parking. The free breakfast buffet for Nikko Fl. guests is wonderful with a lot of options. I have stayed in many other 5 stars hotels before. Hotel Nikko somehow provide a feeling like home. Unlike other San Francisco hotels, Hotel Nikko San Francisco 's striking entry facade and lobby are decorated in contemporary Japanese style. The San Francisco Hotel Nikko San Francisco lobby is gorgeous and very impressive with a lot of very attractive art.
I love the serene atmosphere in Hotel Nikko San Francisco created by the little water streams and fountains running water all over the hotel. The hotel is build of white marbles which is very unique, calm and cool. The check in/out at San Francisco Hotel Nikko San Francisco is a breeze as the Front desk staff is very professional and helpful, actually bend-over-backwards attitude! Theyoffer complimentary San Francisco map with a mark on Hotel Nikko so that you can find it very easily especially when you come from out of San Francisco. A nice touch!
"Try Their Sushi!" Every evening Hotel Nikko San Francisco serves light cocktail hour-type hors-d'oevres and drinks. Very yummy! The hotel also has 24-hour room service. San Francisco Hotel Nikko San Francisco staff is friendly and helpful. Union square is only two blocks or a 5 minute walk and the BART station at Powell Street 10 minute walk away. other San Francisco hotelsIdeal and at a great price. Try San Francisco Hotel Nikko San Francisco restaurant, Anzu. The food is so outstanding that you will return. The sushi bar is supposed to be the best in the city, and it is not easy to get a seat. Book early! The tempura banana split dessert is the best. All said - stay there! The breakfast buffet is to die for!
I booked San Francisco Hotel Nikko San Francisco on my-discount-hotels.com when I was search a hotel with indoor swimming pool and downtown location. The location is good, so is the price, so I booked it. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The room is nice with a great city view and a huge bathroom which is my girl friend's favorite. Only a few steps away from Union Square and easy to take the bus, the Cable Cars, trolley. The rooftop pool is a must and it was not crowed. Food and service at the downstairs restaurant is also very good. We enjoyed our Nikko stay and will stay here next time.
My girlfriend and I stayed at San Francisco Hotel Nikko San Francisco for three nights in October, where I attended an exhibition. We got a great discount from my-discount-hotels.com and the room is very pretty with a nice city view. You will be overwhelmed by their other San Francisco hotelssoaring marble lobby, with incredible contemporary art everywhere, the terrific view in your room...... Want a little luxury at a fair price and that's what you get in San Francisco Hotel Nikko San Francisco !The concierge was also very helpful in arranging a tour to the Muir Woods and Sausolito for us (can't miss it if you're in SF!) Overall, great experience.
