Beautiful, modern hotel with a great location

Sofitel Hotel Philadelphia Hotel Sofitel is perfectly situated for our tourist needs - close to train station, undergound blue line, Phlash trolley etc. I am very particular on clean rooms / bathrooms and this hotel received the highest marks. Bed linens and towels were great, enough hangers etc.

The Sofitel Hotel Philadelphia Hotel Sofitel Philadelphia is in a really nice part of Philly. Walnut street is right round the corner, and there are loads of bars and restaurants nearby to choose from. The stay was great. The room itself was lovely and clean, with super comfy beds, a great tv, modern decor, a nice long, deep bath and a very helpful concierge. The housekeeping for the rest of the stay was also perfect. There's a nice little farmers market on a saturday morning in Rittenhouse square - with great banana bread !

The Sofitel Hotel Philadelphia Hotel Sofitel Philadelphia is nice. A little more low-key than Sofitel NYC, but that's likely the difference between Philly and The Big Apple. The staff is outstanding, the rooms are modern and clean, and the location -nearest to weekend shopping and dining - is superb. Great price / quality ratio. (Things to do nearby: visit Parc - the Paris-bistro facing Rittenhouse Square. Tria - the outstanding wine bar down the street. Monk's Cafe - the best beer you'll ever taste.) I can't imagine a better experience for the price.

The Philadelphia Sofitel Hotel is very nice and our room was huge. The best thing of the hotel is the availability of the guest service. Highly recommended. There's one vending machine with bath nescessities. The fitness center is amazing. All service here was very nice, with the exception of the concierge. They weren't able to give us a great reccomendation of a restaurant. The only restaurant at the hotel was Jappanese. We never ate there. Our stay was an A- or B+.

The Sofitel Hotel Philadelphia Hotel Sofitel Philadelphia. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the bellhop at the door, we felt totally cared for. All staff were gracious, attentive and ready to help. I would single out the concierge who was always helpful. When my husband asked about the closest convenience store, he was handed an umbrella as he headed outside since it was drizzling. When one of 3 computers didn't work, the manager offered to let me work in his office, or at the very least asked me to take a glass of water while I waited. The rooms are gorgeous, the beds luxurious, the bathrooms have the best of everything, linens, robes, soaps, etc. Temp.was room controlled to our liking. Turndown service included a bottle of evian. I would definitley return to this hotel.
