Do not expect amenities, buy the neighberhood provides them pretty well. Do not make internationl calls or long distance...... as any hotel, extremly expensive. Bring your computer if you need access to internet .......... A lot returning guests stay again if visiting Washington D. C.
Good experience. Washington DC Jurys Hotel Washington DC itself is fine, service friendly and good, everything clean and well maintained. Check-in and check-out both handled very quickly and efficiently, and with a smile that seemed more genuine than usual. Well worth the price, compared to some of the other options. Washington DC Jurys Hotel Washington DC is a GREAT area to be hungry in. There are lots of smallish, inexpensive, informal and very good restaurants within a 5 block radius, several in a 1 block radius. Try going up Connecticut Av.
While Jury's is an Irish hotel chain, this Washington DC Jurys Hotel Washington DC is even better than most of them in Ireland! The location on Dupont Circle is excellent. And the quality of the rooms is top-notch. (Ask for a quiet room in the back if you want to be away from the Circle.) Washington DC Jurys Hotel Washington DC is a perfect weekend hotel due to the steep weekend discounts and the local nightlife....
The restraunt , Dupont Grille, within the hotel is excellent although only one of many choices in the Circle. We also ate at Frontpage, at the bookshop/bistro across the road with a strange name that was packed till 2am at least! and had breakfast/snacks at Cosi next to the nearby Metro. The area just buzzed all around the clock -although we had a street facing room - we heard no noise.
We passed through other parts of DC after a night bus tour of monuments (well worth doing) dropping off passengers and it was obvious how quiet some of these areas are. Dupont Cirlce is the opposite so I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the area. Jury's offers a nice, not plush, hotel for a fantastic price. You can use what you save in the nearby eateries!
The Metro as mentioned, is 2 min walk so its more that convenient."
